LAYMAN THOUGHTS POETRY

Marmalade

Ask me to define life, I’ll tell you
Appealing to the tongue,
But you still close your eyes as you swallow
Too deep to survive if you’re shallow
So sharpen your mind for one,

The hardships, content when you overcome
The relationships, turn toxic when overdone
The money, devils medium
Karma, the Lords Premium
I’ll tell you again,

Don’t use one type of spread for the bread,
Less your mouth will be displeased,
Don’t be Predictable, your life then be a Miss
Miss my words when I’m put in the mud,
Listen to my persona, trust me I’m your only bud
