LAYMAN’S THOUGHTS POETRY

Queen of Sleep

My darling mother’s child,
How I love to watch you,
Making love to your pillow
Your beloved
Till you drool

You bear the crown
And blankets are are your gown
Drowned in loud silence
Nothing would wake you
Even a loud siren
So I let you be

Maybe you’re in paradise
Where trees are green
And Roses bloom
Where waters splash
Maybe you don’t want to rush
Coming back

Maybe you’re back aches
For you carry a sack
Not of potatoes but money stacks
Maybe you’re in absolute Bliss
Maybe in an electrical Sparking Kiss
So sleep on dear, wake only when you
Hear.
